Gian Luca started his career as an engineer with General Electrics before moving to McKinsey in New York. Then, he held various managerial positions in major industrial companies such as Olivetti and Pirelli. In 2000, he founded MyQube, a venture capital and private equity investment fund focused on both Europe and the United States. In 1999 he joined the board of directors at the Compagnie Monegasque de Banque and chaired its executive committee until 2006.
He holds an MBA from Columbia University, NY.
